Hi all, I’m Dr Bethan Mead, an urban agriculture researcher from the University of Liverpool. I’m currently working on a project called “Rurban Revolution”, which is about the effects of up-scaling urban greening and growing on health, the environment and food systems. I’m currently running an online survey investigating links between fruit and vegetable growing, health, nature and diet and thought it may be of interest to the folks here.
Our survey is anonymous and has been approved by the university ethics committee. It’s open to anyone aged 18 or over who is also based in the UK. It takes 15-20 minutes to complete and asks questions about urban growing, your environment. thoughts about food, health, nature and diet. There’s a prize draw for shopping vouchers at the very end to say thank you for taking part.
If you’d like to take part you can find the survey here: https://livpsych.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eypxiLLw0pu7W5L
You can also find out more about our research and keep up to date with ways to get involved here: http://wp.lancs.ac.uk/rurbanrevolution/
I’ve been in touch with Mark and he’s given me the go ahead to post about the survey. If you have any questions please let me know! We’re really keen to spread the word about the Rurban Revolution project.
